Divriği’s borders are clear on a map; its people live far beyond them.
In the district centre, in the villages, in Türkiye’s big cities and in other countries, every person from Divriği carries a different need, skill, knowledge or means. But belonging to the same place is not enough for these to find one another by themselves.
Something sought in one place and offered in another creates no value on its own. When people do not know of each other, a product does not reach its buyer, a service does not reach the person who needs it, a visitor does not reach the local business. What exists stays where it is, unmoved.
Divriği Pazarı was founded to make this potential — scattered across a wide geography — visible and reachable in one shared digital marketplace. In doing so it aims to turn distance into access, scattered information into shared visibility, and visibility into economic movement.
A listing is where that movement begins. The real aim is a lasting local circulation in which Divriği’s work, needs and means can find each other.
A bond with home is more than a memory
Divriği carries a strong memory — in its stone, its iron, its soil, its crafts and the people it has raised.
For centuries the Great Mosque and Hospital have carried the labour and refinement of this land. The stories of Nuri Demirağ, born in Divriği, and of Sadık Özgür, who left the village of Bayırüstü and founded Kale Kilit, show that means gained far from home can form a bond with the region again.
What these examples share is that the bond with home did not remain only a memory. It could become knowledge, production, investment and new possibility.

Our aim is not simply to publish more listings; it is to make the work, production and means that exist in Divriği visible, and to make it easy for those who seek and those who offer to reach each other directly.
